There we go Thursday 16.8.2018

Yesterday everything went at the end well. After half a day work I took on time the train.

Unfortunately due to railwayworks I had to reschedule. :(


And so I arrived with a bit more as half an hour delay in Lauterbach (Hessen) Nord. A very small unmanned station. Paul&Marco where already there to pick up my luggage. As the group was taking another way I started in perfect conditions the 10 Km trip. After 45 Min I reached destnation


I was even ahead of the group. They arrived more or less at 19:00 after a succesfull 140 Km trip.

After a tasty diner we went at 22:00 to bed. A long trip is waiting for us tomorrow. And there is some uncertainty if there will be some rain. Let's go for it.

Hi, Unfortunately the Bike Navigation Devise I've been using over the past years is not working anymore. So after many thoughts I bought me yesterday a Geonaute GPS/Pulse watch as a backup. This Morning I used it to record my jogging. The result was convincing. I'm very happy about that. Now I start packing my stuff.

All's well that ends well

Today we had breakfast with Walter and went to the meeting point in Königshofen at 10:00 where the bicycles and the luggage were put meticulously into the cars. After a short "Auf Wiedersehen" tune on the hunting horn the Partnerschaftsradfaher drove back home. I'm (together with many others!) looking forward to welcome them back in 2019. Hopefully we'll cycle together from Ilfeld to Niedernhausen (all the way of course!) in 4 days. Tot ziens!
